Second Saturday Strippers
Next meeting: Saturday, March 13, 2010 11:00 am
Join us the second Saturday of each month
for our new exciting Strip Club.
We'll have Homemade Soup, a Schoolhouse Series, Show and Tell, and 20% off any one regularly priced item in the store.
Strips normally sell for $40, but if you sign up early, you pay only $35.00.
Call and let us know you'll be there so we can have enough kits made.
Stash Busters Block Club
Next meeting: Saturday, March 20, 2010 9:00 am
Join us the third Saturday of every month for this club.
Using Rosalie Quinlan Designs' wonderful pattern, "It's a Dollie's Life," we will be making this quilt together using up our stash!
The first block will be sold for $15.00 which includes a Fat Qtr (your choice) for the wallpaper. The rest of the block will be from your stash. If you complete your block by next meeting, you pay $12.00 for the pattern and get the Fat Qtr free.
We will always have Show and Tell, and there will be a 20% discount on any one regularly priced item at each meeting.

Love Great Coffee? Join our Coffee Club!
Attention caffeine lovers! Join us at 10 am, Saturday, March 20th and every third Saturday of the month after that for FREE specialty coffees and an opportunity to make a cute project with our big selection of coffee motif fabrics. The first project will be a table runner, and the kits will be reasonably priced. Call and reserve your place now.
Gift Givers Club
Meets the last Tuesday every other month, 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Next meeting is March 29.
Using Barrie Sue Gaudet's book, "Quilt a Gift," we meet to make gifts for those we love. Kits for each project will be available prior to each meeting. If you sign up and buy early, you receive 15% off the price of the kit. Cost of kits will vary depending on the project.
First meeting was November 24th and members made felted Christmas tree ornaments (which everyone loved).

Finish Up Friday
Last Friday evening (after the shop closes at 6 pm) of every month. Come to the shop, use our big tables, our stuff, eat pizza, laugh, have fun, finish your ufo's (or not).
$5.00 to join. Pizza extra.
Wrapped in Love
Quilting Bible Study
Every Friday, 8:30 am
This ongoing ministry of fellowship and quilting will include a bible study covering various topics, and will tie in God's gift of compassion with our gift of quilting. We will join together to make prayer quilts for those in need in our community. We supply the goodies, you supply the materials, God supplies the joy.

It's Here!
The new
Accuquilt GO!
This cutting device is great! Recommended by Mark Lipinski and Ricky Timms (and others). We've had the studio model at the shop since we opened, and it is available free for our customers to use when they buy their fabric at our shop.
But now, get your own. This is such a timesaver if you make quilts from "standard" blocks. Every shape gets cut exactly the same--no "operator error" with the rotary cutter or scissors. Cut fabric face to face and ready to sew. Dog ears are already removed from triangles. Make multiple cuts for applique and other non-rotary cutter shapes in a fraction of the time and with none of the frustration (and sore hands) of using scissors. Come in and give it a test run. Your friends will be jealous!
